"Offering online registration to our participants is a concern which we had for more than 5 years. At first, we had tried another system but we were not satisfied because it was not completely functional and because there were several difficulties" says Martin Dumas, chief executive officer of the center. "Isimo is different, it allows not only the online registration but it is really adapted to the needs of day camps and sports and leisure centers. For example, it allows us to offer discounts for families and for children registering for several weeks of camp! "Before, our customers used to register to our classes by filling out forms and we used Microsoft Excel for our follow-up. We wanted to improve our service and that is why we wished to have an online registration system.

They do not need to phone to find out availablilities, everything is posted on the internet. "At first, we chose isimo to answer our customers' needs, who asked us to offer online registration" says Julie Gleeton. "The customers wished not to have to leave the house and mostly, not to have to wait for hours to register to their activities. Several years ago, Tennis Montreal had developped a "custom solution" to manage their members. In spite of investments year after year, the administrators underwent an important administrative burden: the registrations had to be handwritten on forms papers, and all the members had to be entered one by one in the database.

During registration periods, 8 employees were needed to manage the stream of people. And the following days were very busy entering the members in the system, managing invoices and cheques, and making important deposits. Because of the number of registrations, these tasks were so long that they sometimes caused important delays in the creation of participants' lists for the instructors.

In November, 2007, employees and administators of Tennis Montreal meet with Marc-Antoine Ducas, president and founder of isimo. Josée Roy, accountant within the organization, says: "mister Ducas was very candid. He listened to our needs and explained well how isimo could work for us."

"From the first session with isimo, the administrative burden was considerably reduced: several people began to register online, therefore leaving less entries to be done in the database by the employees. For many years, at every session, the Viagym Gymnastics Club held its registration evenings and needed a lot of volunteers on site to manage registration for all the participants. The parents waited in line and completed forms. The volunteers assigned the children to groups according to the chosen schedule. To control the number of participants in a group, they had to copy out the name of every participant on the list for that group. There were as many sheets as there were groups.

Obviously using that method, several errors could skip into the process: typing errors resulting in a bad address of the participant, registration in the wrong group and billing errors. Diane Lagacé, volunteer within the Club Viagym, says "Every case was different, depending on the situation, the volunteers had to charge the membership, the t-shirt or the gym suit, they also applied the discounts for a 2nd child of the same family as well as the extra fees to non-residents of the area. There was a lot of pressure on the volunteers. And after the registrations were done, the invoicing had to be verified, the errors had to be corrected and all the addresses and coordinates of the participants had to be typed into our Microsoft Access database used for administrative and financial follow-up."

Diane Lagacé adds: "Isimo completely changed our registration management. First, about 80% of the parents register their children by Internet. As they enter their personal information themselves directly in the system, we save time and avoid mistakes. They register themselves in the chosen activity and isimo reacts real time: it blocks automatically the registrations when an activity is full or if the age of the participant does not meet the requirements set by the Club for that activity."

"For invoicing, isimo automatically calculate the discounts and the applicable extra fees, according to the rules which we established. The exact payment is done online by credit card and the money is deposited in our account in the next few days."
